Each of our floating rental homes is securely anchored offshore from the marina. To tour the lake and to get to and from the marina requires transporation. You are welcome to bring your own watercraft or rent one of our pontoon or fishing boats. Valet shuttle service to and from the marina is also available for an extra fee. Many homes are pet friendly. Please read the descriptions of each home for details.
The Nomad on Norris Lake
This 400 square ft. newly remodeled floating home experience on the water is thoughtfully appointed for your group’s lake adventures or for a couple’s cozy get-a-way.
Featuring 1 full bath, 2 full over full bunk beds (4 full size mattresses) and a commercial queen size fold out couch, this home accomodates up to 8 guests. The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and washer/dryer (dishwasher detergent and dishwashing soap included). Savor your morning routine with a Keurig coffee maker, complete with coffee, creamer, and sweetener included for your stay. Don’t forget the toaster oven to make your meals even more enjoyable during your Norris Lake rental. Stay cool on those hot summer days with the 12000BTU ultra quiet mini-split remote control AC system. Relax in front of the big screen LCD TV equipped with streaming services from Roku. The stereo system is integrated with the TV and includes a DVD/CD player for your entertainment. Stay connected with Wi-Fi access on board, and cell service is available through all major networks.
Also provided for your convenienc: a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, CO/smoke alarm, and a throwable flotation device, linens and towels for all 8 guests, basic amenities such as toilet paper and soaps and including kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boats, all available for use at no additional cost during your stay.
Spend your day outside on the deck with 2 chairs and a table available on both the front and back porches. A boarding ladder on the house allows for direct access to Norris Lake, perfect for swimming and relaxation. Don’t forget to take advantage of the LP gas grill with propane provided for your convenience.

This one bedroom, one bathroom floating cabin sleeps 1 to 5 people (queen in bedroom plus queen futon with 12-inch plush mattress and a bunk bed in living space for two littles). The bedroom includes night stands for storage with a USB charging station for your devices. The bathroom has a vanity, marine toilet, shower and has additional storage and two doors so it can be accessed from inside the cabin or from the deck. The kitchen includes a full-size stove and refrigerator, coffee pot, toaster, instant pot with air fryer, mixer and all the kitchen tools needed to prepare a complete meal.
Spend your days outside on the 14′ x 32′ deck with outdoor dining table for six, gas grill and swim ladder or enjoying the shade on the covered porch. Two fishing kayaks are included with the rental. Fresh water, A/C, heat, TV. Wifi coming soon.

Relax in a prime location on the walkable slip row at the marina. Although literally on the water, the boat remains docked in the slip and is set up as a floating camper. You are not allowed to untie/move the boat.
This is a great spot to fish and relax on the water but please note that this space is basic! Think glamping on the water! If you are super picky or expecting the Ritz then this place isn’t for you. It is extremely minimal and very basic. It’s kept very clean but does have characteristics of an older home. The place is dated but kept very clean and sanitized.
There is a king size bed in the lower part of the boat. The bench can also fold out to make a full size platform. BATHROOM: The boat is parked on the same slip row as the 24/7 bathrooms. Have you ever been camping??? You know how when you go camping and you need to use the bathroom, you walk to the bathhouse in the campground. This place is exactly like that. Think of it as a primitive floating camp site complete with the occasional bug and you won’t be let down! If you are not OK with that then this place is simply not for you. It’s very basic
The place is connected to shore power, it has modern electricity/power outlets, A/C and a mini fridge. Guests are asked to bring bottled water for drinking and hand washing. The sink passes through and you are able to use it to wash your hands. Grey water only. Bring food/snacks just like you would if you were going camping. The marina does have snacks/drinks during business hours only.
No cleaning fee if you agree to the following. (If you do not agree to the following you can add $150 to the total for your stay for a cleaning charge.) You MUST pick up after yourself and you MUST be willing and able to clean and remove the trash/waste/personal items when you leave/check out. If you are not able or willing to pick up after yourself then please do not book.
No smoking and no strong odors. It’s a small space, please be courteous of odors, sents, sprays, no lighting of candles, or incense is allowed.

Spend your days outside on the deck with an outdoor dining table with a propane grill and or enjoying the shade on the covered porch. An 8 foot john boat with a 2.5 stroke Yamaha motor is included with the rental. There is also a jet ski port if you want to bring your own jet ski or rent one from the marina. Fresh water, A/C, heat.

Monday-Thursdays $185 per night; Friday-Sunday $225/night.
